Search for a specific item
To search for a specific item enter the last name of an Author and/or words from the Title. Do not search for corporate authors (e.g. Department of Health) as they are entered under Source not Author in the database.
Tip: Search for the first three words in the title e.g. World Class Commissioning.
Browse the database
Browse the database by selecting a category from the drop-down list e.g. Mental Health
Use the Subject field to search using index terms from the Department of Health Thesaurus. A full list of terms is available on the Department of Health website.
Tip: Enter a category AND subject keyword to narrow your search e.g. Category Mental Health/ Subject Behaviour therapy
