Making Web 2.0 work for you and your library, Libraries for Nursing Study Day, 15th June 2007

Although this session involved a live demonstration a copy of the presentation is available below. There are some examples of embedding newsfeeds into websites and using a wiki to produce a current awareness bulletin for nurses and allied health professionals.

Keeping up to date: Producing and using alerting services, 22 January & 26 February 2008

A presentation on creating and using alerting services, for a National Library for Health workshop on priorities in primary care. The workshop was first held in London and then in York in February.

Current Awareness in the Health Sector Conference, 20th April 2010

The purpose of this conference was to discuss and share ideas around the delivery of current awareness services by health libraries. Kath Williams gave an overview of the CASH service, including its development over time, the collaborative service model, the key service features, and how to get involved by becoming a Contributor.
