NTAC is a national organisation based in Manchester which assists organiations to idnetify technologies which will provide cost effective, improved patient outcomes in the NHS, supports the sustainable implementation of new technology as an integral part of service and system solutions. It produces guides detailing how the technology can be successfully implemented in the NHS and the benefits to both patients and organisations.
For example, Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has ben working with NTAC on a pilot to undertsand how to promote teh adoption of the oesphageal doppler.
