CLARHCs (Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care)

There are two CLAHRCs in the East Midlands (among only nine in England in total). The CLAHRCs are the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire CLAHRC (NDL), led by Professor Graeme Currie of the University of Nottingham and the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland (LNR) CLAHRC led by Professor Richard Baker.

Whilst the research topics for the two CLAHRCs differ, their missions are similar – to accelerate the translation of evidence-based innovation into healthcare practice within the East Midlands.
