CLAHRC-NDL (Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care - Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire) is an applied health research partnership funded by the NIHR. CLAHRC undertakes high quality, applied research and related education in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of health and social care delivery across the East Midlands.
The first annual CLAHRC-NDL conference took place on 21st September 2010 in Nottingham. Over 250 clinicians, managers, service users and researchers came together to explore the impact CLAHRC-NDL is having in the region, the role for implementation research, and how local health communities can become 'communities of practice' centred around CLAHRC-NDL's four clinical themes: Stroke Rehabilitation, Primary Care, Children & Young People and Mental Health.
