This session briefly outlined the mission of CLAHRCs to accelerate the translation of evidence-based innovation into healthcare practice within NHS East Midlands. They identified the challenges that CLAHRCs face to realise this mission. They showcased some early successes of CLAHRCs in brokering relationships, engaging NHS partners in R&D, and building research capacity. Following this, the audience was asked to engage in group discussion about how the CLAHRCs might make a significant impact in NHS East Midlands in line with their mission.
