Access to services – responding to demand

This category is for service changes or specific work that has shown improved access to diagnosis, treatment and care services.  You should be able to demonstrate that access has been improved through reduced waiting times and the service has been shaped around patient needs and preferences.

You will need to show:

  • Improved patient, service user and carer experience through the quality, timeliness and accessibility of service offered


  • How you assessed the need of the local population for improved access to services

 

  • Partnership working in managing clinical processes and service delivery that has improved access to services

 

  • Evidence of improvements in the working lives of staff, which have helped them deliver improved services to patients, service users and carers.
