Category definitions and criteria

Success 2005

All submitters to Building on Success 2005 learning and sharing showcase were asked to define their work into one of 8 categories for referencing purposes.  Their submission was entered into an awards process using the same category.

 

Individual definitions and criteria of these categories plus nominees and winners can be found by clicking on each one.

Each category had its own judging panel who chose the most outstanding 4 in that category to be nominated for the final awards.  All nominees presented to a judging panel who sat at the beginning of May and final winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 26th May.

There have been 2 cross cutting themes to this year’s event, Patient and Public Consultation and Responding to Diversity.  To reflect this, there were 2 further awards presented.  A diversity panel and panel of patients choose, from the 32 nominees, winners of:

Award Ceremony and Dinner

The NHS in Trent - Building on Success awards ceremony and dinner (invitation only) was held on the evening of 26th May 2005 when final winners were announced.
