East Midlands Patient Safety Innovation Project Idea Submission
Three £1000 Awards are to be awarded at the East Midlands Patient Safety Innovation Conference on 11th October 2011 - for best Patient Safety Innovation Projects. For information on how to enter your patient safety innovation project see form attached below.
To apply for one of these awards, innovative Patient Safety Project proposals must be submitted as outlined in the application form below. The Projects proposed can already be in progress or be in the ‘start-up’ phase but do need to fall within one or more of the following categories : Safer Equipment; Clinical Reliability; Human Factors; Education & Training; Patient & Public Involvement.
The deadline for submission of proposals is 8am on 5th September 2011. From the total submissions, six will be shortlisted. The six shortlisted projects will then be judged by presentation at a ‘Dragon’s Den like’ session on 9th September 2011 in Leicester (2pm until 5pm). Three projects will then be chosen to receive the awards.
The three successful project applicants then need to be available to present their projects and receive their awards at the East Midlands Patient Safety Innovation Conference on 11th October 2011.
