This category demonstrates the real value of good support services in the NHS.  This includes all non-clinical staff  (administration, hotel services, chaplaincy, communications, etc) and scientific/technical support staff (pharmacy, pathology, phlebotomy, etc).

 

  • You have shown a creative approach to the improvement of your support service.
  • You have measured that the improvement has positively impacted upon the service user (clients, colleagues, carers etc) and the patients' experience.
  • You have shown that you have made effective use of resources.
  • You have taken action to ensure the sustainability of your approach.
